Sabrina Peoples is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed by the state of Florida. She holds a B.A. in Healthcare Administration as well as a B.S. in Nursing from The University of North Florida. She graduated with a Master’s of Science in Nursing from South University in Tampa, FL with honors and was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Sabrina joined Lyracore Health Alliance in October 2017, bringing over fifteen years of healthcare experience in areas including; acute and chronic care, critical care, geriatrics, pediatrics and homecare. Additionally, she served four years of active duty service in the United States Air Force, as an emergency medical technician where she took care of wounded active duty members, their families and retirees. Throughout her professional career Sabrina has cared for many patients with various airway and pulmonary conditions including asthma and allergies, COPD, pneumonia, respiratory failure, and cystic fibrosis. Prior to joining Lyracore Health Alliance, she worked as a registered nurse for Children’s First Healthcare in Orlando, FL., where she gained valuable, hands-on experience working with pediatric cases of pulmonary conditions with tracheostomies and mechanical ventilators.
Sabrina’s practice philosophy focuses on prevention, patient education, and takes a collaborative approach to meeting the healthcare needs of every patient. Dedicated to patient care, Sabrina is committed to establishing patient relationships built upon honesty and trust. She is passionate about preventative healthcare and committed to providing high quality evidence based practices with a critical thinking approach. As a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioner (AANP), Sabrina receives unlimited continuing education on the most up-to-date advances in medicine and medical technology.
In her free time, Sabrina enjoys creating memories with friends and family, traveling, experiencing fine dining and wineries, decorating, and, most importantly, being a wife and mother to her son.
